In support of PJM's Vision and Mission, the Sr. Compliance Analyst will work with the Manager, Identity and Access Management to develop, communicate and implement effective strategies that support short, mid- and long-term growth objectives that affect the continual operation and development of PJM's identity and access management compliance program.Essential Functions:Reports to Manager, Identity & Access Management for work assignments and directly supports the manager in accomplishing both day-to-day operations and project level responsibilities as assigned.Has a thorough understanding of NERC CIP standard requirements owned by the Identity and Access Management Department and all compliance work performed by the department, and is able to apply that knowledge to develop and operate processes that support these requirements.Regularly reviews reports, outcomes and quality of data to ensure compliance and ensure proper operation of processes and systems.Develops and maintains quality metrics for Identity and Access Management Department compliance areas.Develops and documents processes and system improvements.Documents operational procedures and training for use by internal (departmental) and external (PJM) clients.Investigates and documents suspected violations and outcomes.Analyzes and develops reports for data requests from regulatory agencies internal and external.Participates in audits by outside agencies.Builds and develops strong relationships with ITS, Security and Human Resource personnel by providing superior customer support as demonstrated by clearly owning, resolving and communicating issues and problems; being responsive to needs, requirements, and deadlines; and generally promoting goodwill in a professional and trust-building manner.Participates in the development of policies, standards, and procedures for the department compliance program.Applies knowledge, skills and abilities to implement a process or procedure, timely and professionally.Other duties as assigned by manager.Characteristics and Qualifications:Required:AS, Business, Information Systems or Equivalent work experienceAt least 5 years of experience IT security compliance related workExperience with identity management practices, focusing on access management and governanceExperience in customer service/supportAbility to produce high-quality work products with attention to detailAbility to visualize and solve complex problemsAbility to operate in a confidential and controlled environmentExperience using effective verbal and written communications skillsExperience developing policies, procedures, standards or manualsExperience documenting and improving business processesAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)Ability to work in a team environment as a team member or as team leaderAbility to work independently and to train, guide or assist others to perform complex assignmentsPreferred:āBS, Information Technology, Information Systems or Equivalent work experience0-5 years of experience Identity and access management related workExperience with NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) StandardsAbout PJM InterconnectionOperates the electric power grid and wholesale energy markets.This page is fully interactive when JavaScript is enabled.
