Job Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 2–4 years of experience in analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of broadband operations, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to enhance service efficiency, optimize business processes, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management – Act as the conduit between the Product Manager/Owner and the rest of the business team to continuously analyse Product-Market Fit from a market and business perspective.
- Digital Marketing – The BA will be a catalyst to Digital Marketing initiatives and along with the Marketing team will document and execute Digital Marketing initiatives.
- Business and Sales Operations – Observe, create, and help modify business processes while maintaining overall operational hygiene with various prescribed business activities.
- Risk Management – Assist in identifying all potential business and process risks which can have an impact on short and long-term revenue.
- Gap Analysis – Identify gaps in business operational processes and suggest mitigations.
- AI Roadmap – Assist the Product Manager, Architect, and Business Head in preparing and executing an AI roadmap to be finally built into the product.
- Drive Business Excellence – Continuously update and upgrade business processes, identifying areas for business improvements and excellence through observation, research, data, and reports to management.
- Best Practices – Observe, identify, document, report, and assist in executing best practices of competition in the domain, working closely with the Market Research Manager.
- Documentation -Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to broadband utility domain services
- Analysis and Analytics - Perform data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for revenue , operations and service optimizations and to use data effectively as a tool to help and advice in revenue generation and revenue growth.
- Cross functional collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, solutions, and process changes. Work closely with stakeholders, including Sales , Marketing ,Operations, IT, and finance teams, to identify business needs and process improvements
- Metrics - Create business metrics to support Sales , Project Teams , Product Teams , in tracking, and reporting on key broadband service performance metrics.
- Compliance - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Work with the Founders office – Will help shape work and comparisons for strategic business activities like IPO and cost optimisation.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 -6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT/E-com, Broadband, Telecom, or Utilities domain.
- Strong understanding of analytics , data and business tools for analytics
- Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and business case development.
- Experience in showing value of saving cost / increasing revenue through Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Ability to work with Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA from a renowned institute ( IIM/ISB/SPJain/NMIMS) and/or Engineering from a premier institute ( IIT/NIT/BITS) with an Analytics background.
- Product Management experience
- Experience in broadband infrastructure, fibre networks, or telecom operations.
- Knowledge of GIS mapping, network planning, or IoT applications in broadband utilities.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance related to broadband services.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
