Full-Stack Engineer for Electronic Components Analysis Platform

We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join our early-stage AI startup, Pisco, and build a secure, intelligent platform for analyzing, sourcing, and managing electronic components from scratch. General Information Pisco is developing innovative tools to modernize an industry that has historically been overlooked. As a founding team member, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical foundation, develop the MVP, and bring impactful solutions to a massive market. The environment emphasizes ownership, speed, and curiosity, with a focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities into the product. Tasks and Deliverables - Build and scale the MVP end-to-end using Django or propose a suitable alternative stack. - Collaborate closely with the founder and product designer to transform customer needs into functional, elegant product experiences. - Implement clean, maintainable front-end interfaces, primarily server-rendered in Django with lightweight interactivity. - Make foundational decisions regarding architecture, data modeling, and scalability for long-term growth. - Develop pipelines to clean, normalize, and enrich structured and unstructured data (PDFs, datasheets, catalogs). - Implement and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, semantic search, and embedding-based retrieval. - Prioritize performance, security, and usability from the outset. - Contribute to building a strong engineering culture grounded in curiosity, ownership, and speed.
