Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Designer, based in Ahmedabad. The Piping Designer will be responsible for developing piping designs and layouts, preparing detailed drawings, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure optimal design accuracy. The role includes creating models and drawings utilizing software tools, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Piping Design and Layout, including familiarity with related software tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or SmartPlant
- Proficiency in creating detailed engineering drawings and piping isometric designs
- Knowledge of piping materials, stress analysis, and system integration
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with strict deadlines
- Educational qualifications: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes, as well as industrial projects, is a plus
- Commitment to safety and compliance with industry standards
