POSITION DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time hourly position. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed. This position reports directly to the Manager. Job duties and work hours are subject to change at any time.
WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION
· Follow all company standard operating procedures for sales and marketing
· Open & close registers
· Count money
· Ring up customer purchases in computer system and accept customer payments
· Answer phones following phones script
· Assist manager with daily vehicle purchasing
· Maintain 100% accuracy between physical count and computer inventory system
· Marketing: Call customers on daily basis log into SharePoint; Maintain Facebook daily; Post Facebook live videos; send out text messages to customers using marketing software
· Run end of day routine
· Run daily computer reports and record results in computer software
· Send End of Day Email to manager
· Update inventory daily at end of day using computer software
· Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
· Compliance with Employee Handbook and all SOPs.
· All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Follow all company standard operating procedures for sales and marketing
- Open & close cash registers
- Count money
- Ring up customer purchases in computer system and accept customer payments
- Run computer parts lookup system and sell auto parts.
- Must be able to accurately identify car parts to complete sales to customers
- Buy salvage vehicles from customers.
- Answer phones following phones script
- Coordinate with teammates on positioning used vehicles on auto parts sales lot
- Use computer system to enter physical location of vehicles on company property
- Use computer system to ensure agreement between computer inventory levels and physical inventory.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
- Compliance with Employee Handbook and all standard operating procedures
PHYSICAL ASPECTS:
- Stands, walk, use hands, reaches, talk and hear frequently.
- Lifts to 50 lbs.
- Requires close vision at 20 inches or less.
- Requires distant vision at 20 feet or more.
- Requires the ability to distinguish colors.
- Requires good peripheral vision.
- Must be able to walk comfortably up to 3 miles daily.
- Required to push/pull and climb ladders greater than 20ft.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Will occasionally be exposed to:
- Work near moving mechanical parts regularly over 5%.
- Work in office environment 95%
- Work in outdoor manufacturing environment 5%
