Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pipeline Designer, located in Ranchi. The Pipeline Designer will be responsible for creating and reviewing pipeline designs, preparing detailed schematics and layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating with project teams to optimize design processes. Additional responsibilities include modifying existing designs, performing quality checks, and collaborating with engineers to address design challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
Expected Expertise in:
Drawings which are expected to but not limited to have your experience in are:
- Offshore and Onshore Alignment sheets,
- Spool Isometric,
- FJC and fabrication drawings,
- Crossing ,
- HDD profile & Trench Profile
- Diffuser design,
- 3D modelling,
- Layout, P&ID
- Route alignment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in pipeline design and layout, with expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of pipeline engineering principles and industry standards
- Experience with material selection, stress analysis, and operational safety requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents, as well as adapt to project-specific specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in oil and gas pipeline design is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus
