Job Duties: Write clean, efficient, and sustainable code with Java, C++, or Python. Break down complex problems and implement creative algorithms using state-of-the-art techniques in the area of distributed systems. Collaborate with engineers across our organization to build new features from scratch. Help build the next generation storage platform based on an open-source NewSQL database (TiDB) and deprecate existing systems built on HBase. Develop workflows using Spark for large-scale data migration and validation. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.
