The Industrial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the facility. This role supports daily operations by cleaning production areas, equipment, and common spaces while ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. The Industrial Cleaner removes debris, manages waste, and operates cleaning equipment to prevent hazards and maintain efficiency. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to workplace safety, including the ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 120 pounds (with or without assistance).
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous industrial, janitorial, or manufacturing cleaning experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced or production environment is a plus
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and tools

Physical Requirements

The Industrial Cleaner plays a critical role in supporting operational efficiency, preventing hazards, and promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of production floors, machinery, and work areas
- Remove debris, scrap materials, and waste from manufacturing areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and office spaces as needed
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuums
- Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with spill cleanup and emergency response situations
- Maintain cleanliness standards to support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations
