We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Inspector & Janitorial Operations Associate to help maintain clean, safe, and well-kept facilities. This position combines quality inspections with hands-on janitorial support. The right candidate will be comfortable identifying cleaning issues, documenting findings, communicating with team members, and stepping in to support cleaning operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness and compliance with company standards
- Identify areas that need attention and report issues promptly
- Complete inspection checklists and maintain accurate records
- Communicate inspection findings to management and janitorial staff
- Follow up on corrective actions to help ensure issues are resolved
- Support janitorial operations as needed to maintain cleanliness and workflow
- Assist with sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and other general cleaning tasks
- Monitor restrooms, break areas, offices, and common spaces to ensure standards are met
- Support trash removal and recycling procedures
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and properly
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Good communication and basic reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in quality control, inspections, or facility walkthroughs
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work may take place in indoor and/or outdoor facilities
- Evening and weekend availability may be required
- The role involves physical activity, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the facility
