Description
Primary Job Purpose:
The Operations Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of servicing deposit/loan accounts. The Operations Administrator will cross-train and obtain a general knowledge of functions within the department.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Works with branch employees to resolve account issues
- Scanning/imaging various documents into Synergy (cold storage)
- Works with each branch location and the fraud department regarding customer disputes on debit card transactions, ensures compliance with Mastercard regulations
- Works with customer fraud issues
- Daily wire processing
- Monthly SAFE reporting
- Performs Escrow Analysis as well as handle any other Escrow related task
- Pays Insurance and Taxes as they become due
- Tracks expiration of Insurance/Flood policies.
- Research records and provides documentation in response to subpoenas/court orders
- Monitor / resolve loan past dues
- Processes payoffs
- Processes construction draw requests
- Processes charge offs on loans accounts as requested
- Reviews numerous daily reports related to account maintenance and service charging
- Tracks Bankruptcy activity to include filing claims if warranted
- Loan Processing
- Update loan rates
- Processes deposit item returns
- Processes incoming wire payoffs
- Manages dormant accounts
- Processes outgoing mail
- Processes reclamations
- Processes garnishments
- Processes death notifications
- Performs other duties as requested
Requirements
Minimum Education:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products including advanced Excel, Word and bank software
- Good communications skills with emphasis on listening and problem-solving skills
- Possess the ability to be cross trained on many different job duties and rotate jobs within the department
- Ability to work in a fast-paced time sensitive environment
- Must exhibit attention to detail and sense of urgency to complete assigned tasks
- Must be able to work self-directed
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional organization skills
- Good communications skills with emphasis on listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet designated deadlines and reprioritize as needed
- Previous banking experience preferred but not required
