The Air Quality Division’s Technical Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and compliance of federally and state-funded projects. This role ensures that all grant and contract activities align with regulatory requirements, organizational goals, and funder expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex funding streams and technical deliverables. The program operates under the authority of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the State of Florida to ensure compliance with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards established under the Clean Air Act.
Serve as liaison with government agencies, funders, and internal stakeholders during budget development, expenditure tracking and financial report preparation.
Develop and maintain dashboards and tracking systems for deliverables, timelines, and budget allocations.
Provide guidance regarding grant compliance and reporting procedures.
Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by Environmental Division Manager.
Assignment to work a variety of work schedules including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations.
What Do You Need To Have?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, information technology, economics, health science, math, chemistry, physics, or subject directly related to the specialized assignments and four (4) years of experience as described above; or
