Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Pindrop, you will be responsible for analyzing and investigating cybersecurity incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats across our infrastructure and products. You will work closely with our engineering and security teams to detect, triage, and respond to security events, and implement security controls and processes to prevent and mitigate future incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze security logs, alerts, and incident data to identify and investigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities - Collaborate with engineering teams to test and validate security controls, and ensure effective implementation - Develop and maintain security monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect and respond to security events - Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures - Participate in incident response, including root cause analysis and remediation efforts - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst or security operations role - Strong understanding of security concepts, technologies, and industry best practices - Proficient in analyzing and interpreting security logs, alerts, and incident data - Experienced in using security monitoring and incident response tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection) - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and experience in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly investigate and respond to security incidents - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, SANS, CEH) are a plus
