Founder's Office Intern
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Founder’s Office team as an Intern focused on fundraising activities. This internship is designed for individuals passionate about startups, venture capital, investment banking, and the art and science of fundraising. You will work directly alongside the founder, gaining firsthand experience and insights into raising capital, investor relations, and strategic finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating, refining, and updating compelling investor materials, including pitch decks, financial projections, one-pagers, and data rooms.
- Conduct in-depth research and market analysis to identify potential investors, venture capital firms, and angel networks.
- Help prepare investor outreach campaigns, schedule meetings, and coordinate communications with potential and existing investors.
- Support due diligence processes by gathering documentation, financial data, and preparing comprehensive responses to investor queries.
- Track investor interactions, manage CRM databases, and maintain updated fundraising progress reports.
- Participate actively in strategy sessions, offering analytical insights and creative ideas to enhance fundraising approaches.
Who We're Looking For:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and fundraising.
- Exceptional analytical and research skills, with an ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
