About the role

Picarro is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Semiconductor Metrology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and improving software components that enable the operation of our advanced semiconductor metrology instruments. This includes features like measurement data analysis, user interface, device automation, and system diagnostics. You will work closely with hardware and application engineering teams to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our semiconductor industry customers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software components for semiconductor metrology instruments - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and implement solutions - Contribute to the continuous improvement of software architecture, tooling, and processes - Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure software quality - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the semiconductor industry
