About the role

We're on the hunt for a forward-thinking Data and Insights Analyst to join our growing Strata Excellence team. This full-time permanent position can be based in Brisbane or any of our branch locations around Australia. Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for turning data into powerful insights to drive informed decision-making, improvements and value delivery across the business. You will provide expert analytics and insightful reporting that will analyse patterns and trends to ensure that continuous improvement initiatives focus on delivering the most significant benefits. What you'll be doing: Data Detective: Gather data from various internal and external sources, identify data needs, and establish reliable and accurate data pipelines. Trend Spotter: Perform in-depth analysis to uncover trends and patterns, applying statistical techniques and tools to interpret complex data. Visualisation Guru: Develop and update Power BI dashboards, creating interactive visualisations that make data insights easy to understand. Insight Communicator: Create detailed reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to business leaders. Strategic Advisor: Provide data-led insights to help prioritise projects and initiatives, supporting our leadership team with project planning and mapping. About you: You have strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies, with proven experience in data analysis, data modelling, and data visualisation. You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field is desirable not essential. You have strong proficiency in using data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel. You are known as a genius in all things Power BI! You have proven experience in working with large datasets, including data quality checks and data cleansing. You have a natural curiosity about data and a genuine enthusiasm for data insights, visualisation, and storytelling.
