Role Description
This is a once a week, on-site role for a Piano Teacher, based in Pune. The Piano Teacher will provide individualized and group piano lessons, teach music theory, and design engaging curriculum plans tailored to students’ skill levels and goals. Responsibilities include assessing students' progress, preparing them for performances or exams, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment in alignment with Whiskar Music's innovative educational philosophy.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Piano Playing and a strong understanding of Piano Education
- Solid knowledge of Music Theory and Music Education principles
- Skills in teaching piano to students across various skill levels
- Passion for music and a commitment to student-centered learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively
- Experience in preparing students for performances, competitions, or examinations
- Formal music education or certification in piano or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with music software and teaching aids is an added advantage
