Role Description The Physiotherapy Manager (Homecare) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality home-based physiotherapy services for senior clients. Day-to-day tasks include assessing clients’ physical condition, designing individualized physiotherapy and exercise plans, and coordinating home visits to ensure consistent care. The role involves supervising and mentoring physiotherapists and trainers, monitoring treatment outcomes, and updating care plans as needed. The Physiotherapy Manager will collaborate with clients, families, and internal teams to align physiotherapy programs with overall health and fitness goals, including prehab, rehab, and fall-prevention strategies. Administrative duties include scheduling, documentation, compliance with professional standards, and contributing to service improvement and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical physiotherapy skills in assessment, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and fall-prevention for older adults.
- Experience in geriatric care, homecare service delivery, and managing mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility programs.
- Ability to design and supervise individualized exercise programs and collaborate with trainers on prehab and rehab support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with seniors, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid organizational and leadership abilities, including team supervision, scheduling, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
- Relevant degree in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and valid professional registration/licensure as required.
- Knowledge of basic nutrition principles related to healthy aging is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a managerial or senior physiotherapist role, preferably in homecare or community-based settings, is beneficial.
