We Are Hiring – Physiotherapist (Community Based Rehabilitation)
The Ability People is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team and support persons with disabilities through community-based services in Visakhapatnam.
Role Overview:
The Physiotherapist will work directly in the community, providing rehabilitation services, assessments, and therapy to persons with disabilities. The role involves field visits, follow-ups, and supporting individuals to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Work Locations:
Community visits across Gajuwaka, Vadlapudi, Gopalapatnam, and Malkapuram.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physiotherapy assessments for persons with disabilities in the community
- Provide therapy sessions and rehabilitation plans
- Conduct home visits and follow-up sessions
- Train caregivers on home-based exercises
- Support identification of assistive device needs (AFO, KAFO, mobility aids)
- Maintain basic documentation and case records
- Coordinate with hospitals and rehabilitation teams when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT)
- Interest in community-based rehabilitation and disability services
- Good communication and field work ability
- Bike with a valid driving license preferred ( Not Mandatory ) for community visits
