Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to children with developmental, neuromuscular, and orthopedic conditions in an on-site setting located in Ahmedabad. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and documenting progress. The role involves collaborating with other therapists, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care and advising caregivers on home-based exercise programs and positioning strategies. This is a part-time, on-site role that requires regular interaction with children and their families within the center’s clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) from an accredited institution; valid registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric physiotherapy, including developmental, neurological, or orthopedic conditions in children.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive physical and functional assessments and design individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
- Skills in therapeutic exercise, neurodevelopmental treatment, gross motor skill training, balance and coordination training, and postural management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Capacity to maintain accurate clinical documentation and use basic digital tools or electronic records as needed.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with children and caregivers.
- Prior experience in a child development center, hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting is an advantage.
- Willingness to participate in case discussions, training, and continuous professional development.
