Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Navi Mumbai. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, review medical histories, and develop individualized treatment plans for rehabilitation and functional recovery. Daily responsibilities include administering evidence-based therapeutic exercises and manual therapy, using appropriate modalities and equipment, and monitoring patient progress with clear documentation. The role involves educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and fall prevention, while coordinating with multidisciplinary team members such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists. The Physiotherapist will maintain high standards of clinical care, adhere to safety and infection control protocols, and contribute to case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from an accredited institution; valid registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills in neuro, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, ideally with exposure to stroke, spine, brain injury, and geriatric rehabilitation.
- Ability to design, implement, and adjust individualized rehabilitation plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and pain management interventions.
- Effective communication and counseling skills to educate patients and caregivers, explain treatment goals, and promote adherence to home exercise and rehab programs.
- Comfort working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and coordinating care across rehabilitation centers, homecare settings, and other clinical services.
- Strong documentation and basic computer skills for maintaining accurate patient records, reporting progress, and following organizational protocols.
- High level of empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with individuals with chronic conditions, disabilities, or age-related needs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by patient
