Role Description
This is a contract role for a Physiotherapist based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, with hybrid work flexibility that allows for some work-from-home opportunities. The Physiotherapist will assess and treat patients in clinical, home-based, and online settings while providing tailored therapies for geriatric, neurological, musculoskeletal, and post-operative conditions. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, designing personalized treatment plans, monitoring progress, maintaining accurate records, and educating patients on self-management techniques. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and patient satisfaction is also a crucial part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, and geriatric physiotherapy
- Experience in post-operative recovery care, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain management
- Strong understanding of standardized assessment protocols and clinical SOPs
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to adapt treatments to home-visit or online consultation settings
- Relevant certifications and licenses to practice physiotherapy
- Any specialization in orthopedic or neurological physiotherapy is a plus
- Empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to improving patient quality of life
