Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist and Ergonomist role based in Bengaluru. The role involves conducting ergonomic assessments in office and industrial environments, identifying risk factors for RSI/MSD, and recommending practical interventions for posture, workstation design, and workflow. The Physiotherapist and Ergonomist will provide on-site physiotherapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs. Day-to-day tasks include delivering ergonomics training sessions, preparing scientific and evidence-based reports, collaborating with client stakeholders on prevention strategies, and documenting outcomes in line with organizational protocols. The role also requires active participation in quality improvement, use of technology-enabled tools, and adherence to professional and ethical standards in patient and client care.
Qualifications
- Relevant clinical qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution, with valid registration or licensure where applicable.
- Strong knowledge of ergonomics principles, workplace assessment methods, RSI/MSD prevention strategies, and international standards in ergonomics and physiotherapy.
- Proficiency in physiotherapy assessment and treatment techniques, including musculoskeletal evaluation, exercise prescription, manual therapy, and rehabilitation planning.
- Ability to conduct ergonomic trainings and workshops, prepare clear assessment reports, and communicate recommendations effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfort using technology-enabled assessment tools and documentation systems, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach and the ability to work independently and within a team in corporate and industrial settings.
- Prior experience in occupational health, corporate physiotherapy, or industrial ergonomics is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Bengaluru as required, and to maintain ongoing professional development through continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
