Join Our Team as a Physics Tutor (IGCSE) - Grade 9 - 10
Are you passionate about sparking curiosity about how the universe works? We're expanding our team and seeking dynamic tutors specializing in IGCSE Cambridge Physics to join us remotely with flexible hours.
Position Highlights:
- Evening Shifts: 6 PM – 10 PM IST
- Competitive Pay: ₹600 per session
Your Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lesson plans aligned with IGCSE Physics and Cambridge Lower Secondary Science curricula, covering core topics such as forces and motion, energy, waves, electricity, magnetism, thermal physics, and atomic structure
- Deliver interactive sessions using real-world applications, virtual experiments, and guided problem-solving techniques
- Incorporate digital tools (e.g., PhET simulations, Tracker video analysis, circuit simulators) and hands-on demonstration activities to make abstract concepts tangible
- Assign targeted numerical problems, past-paper practice, and lab-style questions while tracking progress and providing constructive feedback
- Conduct demo sessions showcasing inquiry-based, student-centered teaching methods that encourage scientific reasoning
- Communicate regularly with parents on achievements, challenges, and personalized growth plans
Who We're Looking For:
- Strong command of IGCSE-level physics concepts and the ability to connect theory with everyday phenomena
- Skill in simplifying complex topics through analogies, visual models, simulations, and step-by-step problem-solving approaches
- Clear communication, patience, and strong classroom management for preteens/teens
- Passion for building scientific temperament, analytical thinking, and a genuine excitement for physics
