Eligibility Criteria: As per guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE):
- Ph.D. in Physics from a recognized university.
- Strong academic record with consistent performance throughout academic career.
- Relevant teaching and research experience depending on the position applied for.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals (SCI/Scopus indexed preferred).
- Experience in funded research projects, patents, or consultancy is desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Physics and related interdisciplinary subjects.
- Prepare lecture materials, assignments, and evaluation methods.
- Employ modern teaching methodologies including digital learning tools.
Research & Publications
- Conduct innovative research in Physics and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
- Apply for external research funding and collaborative projects.
- Guide student research projects and supervise postgraduate and doctoral students.
Student Mentorship
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
- Support students in research, competitions, internships, and career planning.
Laboratory & Infrastructure Development
- Develop and maintain Physics laboratories and research facilities.
- Introduce new experiments aligned with emerging technologies.
Curriculum Development
- Participate in curriculum design and revision as per AICTE and university guidelines.
- Integrate interdisciplinary and industry-relevant topics.
Academic Administration
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
- Contribute to accreditation and quality initiatives such as NAAC/NBA processes.
Collaboration & Outreach
- Build collaborations with research institutes, universities, and industry partners.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and guest lectures.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven research capability and publication record.
- Ability to mentor students and guide research projects.
- Experience with modern laboratory equipment and simulation tools.
Compensation:
Salary as per AICTE Pay Scales / higher scales can be considered for the right candidate
