Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physics Faculty role located in Gurgaon, focusing on classes 6 to 10 under the CBSE curriculum and competitive-level preparation. The faculty member will plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons, explain core concepts clearly, and align teaching with school and competition exam requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classroom sessions, assigning and evaluating homework and tests, and tracking learner progress. The role also involves designing practice questions, clarifying doubts individually and in groups, coordinating with other faculty for integrated learning, and participating in parent interactions or academic review meetings when required. The faculty is expected to maintain a disciplined yet encouraging classroom environment and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching materials.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics and Theoretical Physics suitable for classes 6–10 and competitive exam preparation.
- Knowledge of Physics Education methodologies and effective classroom pedagogy for school and competition levels.
- Solid foundation in Mathematics to support problem-solving and numerical aspects of Physics.
- Awareness of basic Astronomy concepts to enrich learners’ understanding and curiosity about physical sciences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Prior teaching or coaching experience with CBSE curriculum and/or competitive examinations (such as NTSE, Olympiads, or foundation courses) is preferred.
- Ability to communicate concepts clearly, use examples and analogies, and adapt explanations to different learning levels.
- Strong classroom management, learner engagement, and mentoring skills, with a focus on ethical and inclusive teaching practices.
- Comfort with using basic educational technology tools for presentations, assessments, and learner tracking.
