We’re Hiring | Physician Assistant – Orthopaedics

Dr Karunakaran S Spine Centre, Anna Nagar, Chennai is looking for a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to support our Orthopaedic Consultant in outpatient spine and orthopaedic care.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a motivated Physician Assistant with strong OPD experience, patient-handling skills, and a keen interest in orthopaedics and spine care. You will play a key role in patient evaluation, clinical coordination, and assisting in minor procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Orthopaedic Consultant during OPD consultations

• Take detailed patient history and perform preliminary clinical assessments

• Assist in minor procedures such as injections, dressings, and splint application

• Coordinate physiotherapy referrals and follow-up plans

• Explain treatment plans, investigations, and post-procedure care to patients

• Maintain accurate EMR entries, clinical documentation, and reports

• Coordinate with physiotherapy, nursing, and diagnostic teams

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant / Allied Health Sciences

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Orthopaedics (mandatory)

• Hands-on experience in OPD and basic orthopaedic procedures

• Good computer skills (EMR, documentation, reports)

• Strong communication skills and patient-handling ability

• Familiarity with orthopaedic terminology, imaging, and treatment protocols

Preferred Skills

• Experience in spine or sports injury cases

• Ability to work independently during evening OPD hours

Work Details

📍 Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai

🕓 Timing: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

💰 Salary: As per experience and skill level
