Physical Verification (PV) Engineer
Experience: 3–8 Years
Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Noida
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Physical Verification (PV) Engineer with strong expertise in block and subsystem verification flows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in advanced node verification and should be able to collaborate closely with layout, design, and methodology teams to ensure high-quality tape-outs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform physical verification (DRC, LVS, ERC, ANT, DFM checks) at block and subsystem level.
Debug and resolve DRC/LVS violations and work closely with layout and design teams for closure.
Develop and maintain PV runsets, automation scripts, and verification methodologies.
Execute signoff flows using industry-standard EDA tools.
Perform LVS debugging and schematic-layout correlation.
Work on advanced node technologies and ensure signoff quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including layout, P&R, and design teams to resolve verification issues efficiently.
Support tape-out activities and final verification closure.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Physical Verification flows (DRC, LVS, ERC, ANT, DFM).
Hands-on experience with Calibre / ICV or equivalent PV tools.
Strong debugging skills for layout and LVS issues.
Experience with advanced technology nodes is a plus.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and scripting (TCL/Shell/Python).
Understanding of physical design and layout concepts.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3–8 years of relevant industry experience in Physical Verification.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced tape-out environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
