Position: Physical Education Director
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Physical Education / Sports Science with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- NET / SET / SLET in Physical Education or Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET/SET/SLET
- Sports Achievement Requirement
- Director (University): 10 years as Deputy Director OR 15 years as Assistant Director at College or University.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sports programs, fitness activities, and wellness initiatives.
- Organize intercollegiate, intra-college, and national-level tournaments as per the guidelines of the affiliated university, & or institute/Organization.
- Maintain sports equipment and facilities, and purchase sports equipment according to the process laid down by SVKM’s.
- Train and mentor students in various sports and fitness activities.
- Ensure safety protocols during physical activities.
- Collaborate with faculty for integrating physical education into the curriculum.
- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to you by the Registrar, Principal, Management from time to time.
