Role Description
As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and implementation of semiconductor physical design projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting physical synthesis, place and route (PnR), timing analysis (STA), and floorplanning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, ensure compliance with design specifications, and meet performance targets. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Noida, requiring a strong technical background in semiconductor design processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Expertise in physical design methodologies, including Static Timing Analysis (STA), Synthesis, Place and Route (PnR), and Floorplanning.
- Proficiency in tools and techniques for Memory Layout Design, IO Layout Design, and Design-for-Test (DFT).
- Knowledge of RTL design, SOC integration, and IP implementation processes.
- Experience with virtual prototyping, SystemC, and TLM 2.0 for system-level design and simulation.
- Proficient in SOC validation, FPGA design, and validation workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant industry experience in semiconductor physical design is highly desirable.
