Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role, based in Chennai, for a Physician Assistant at GBR Fertility Centre. The Physician Assistant will work closely with clinicians to support patient care by assisting in consultations, conducting diagnostic assessments, and providing guidance to patients throughout their treatment. Responsibilities also include ensuring patients are well-informed about appointments, follow ups, reviews, procedures, cost of treatments, and outcomes, maintaining accurate medical records, providing financial counselings, OP & IP Billing and collaborating with the medical team to implement personalized treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Clinical skills, including medical history taking, diagnostic assessments, and assisting in surgical and non-surgical fertility treatments.
- Proficiency in patient communication to provide emotional and informational support, financial counseling, etc., with clarity and empathy.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Knowledge of infertility treatments such as IUI, IVF, and advanced ART procedures is highly advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based healthcare environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field is required, along with relevant licensure.
- Prior experience in reproductive medicine or a healthcare setting is a strong plus.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and staying updated on the latest advancements in fertility treatments.
