PHP Developer Intern
Location: Dwarka, New Delhi (On-site)
Experience Required: 0–6 Months
Role Summary
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic PHP Developer Intern (0–6 Months) to join our IT team.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using the Laravel Framework and other PHP technologies.
This role offers practical exposure to real-world web application projects, including CMS development, API integration, and server-side logic.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter.
- Work on CMS platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify for website customization and plugin development.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Laravel Guards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
- Use AJAX and JavaScript/jQuery for interactive user interfaces.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle — from planning to deployment.
- Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of web applications.
- Collaborate with the design and backend team to integrate APIs and manage database connectivity.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain code to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Manage databases using MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Use version control tools like Git for collaborative development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech / BCA / MCA / BSc (IT) / M.Sc (IT), software engineering or a related field.
- 0-6 Months of experience in web development with a focus on Laravel framework.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Word Press, CMS.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integration methods.
- Familiarity with Laravel Guards, Blade templates, and Eloquent ORM.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Optional but beneficial: React.js or Node.js knowledge.
- Database experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- A complete portfolio that shows the applications you have worked on.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
