Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Laravel Developer with 2–3 years of experience in developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Laravel, Core PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs, along with a solid understanding of software development best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, high-performance, and user-friendly applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Build reusable, efficient, and scalable backend components.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend and third-party services.
- Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest Laravel ecosystem and PHP best practices.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Strong experience with Laravel Framework (Laravel 8/9/10/11).
- Solid understanding of Core PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong knowledge of MySQL database design and query optimization.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or GitLab for version control.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and Laravel Blade templating.
- Experience with Composer and Laravel Artisan commands.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Basic knowledge of Linux server environments and deployment processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Livewire or Inertia.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vue.js or React is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Redis, queues, caching, and scheduled jobs.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Exposure to AWS, DigitalOcean, or other cloud platforms is a plus.
