We are looking for a highly skilled PHP Developer with strong WordPress expertise who can manage and optimize a large-scale dynamic website (~150,000+ pages). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in website speed optimization, server performance tuning, uptime monitoring, and frontend improvements.
🎯 Key Responsibilities⚡ Performance Optimization
- Optimize website loading speed (Core Web Vitals – LCP, CLS, INP)
- Reduce TTFB and improve server response time
- Implement advanced caching strategies (Redis, Varnish, Object Cache)
- Optimize database queries and reduce load on MySQL
- Handle high-traffic scalability challenges
🧩 WordPress Development
- Develop and customize WordPress themes & plugins
- Optimize large-scale dynamic page architecture (150K+ pages)
- Improve internal linking and rendering efficiency
- Debug plugin/theme conflicts and performance bottlenecks
🛠Server & Downtime Management
- Monitor uptime and ensure high availability (99.9%+)
- Handle server crashes, downtime issues, and traffic spikes
- Work with hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, Cloudways, etc.)
- Implement CDN solutions (Cloudflare, Akamai)
🎨 Frontend Development
- Improve UI/UX and page responsiveness
- Optimize CSS, JS delivery (minification, lazy loading, code splitting)
- Ensure mobile-first design and performance
- Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks if needed
🧠Required SkillsCore Technical Skills
- Strong PHP & MySQL expertise
- Deep understanding of WordPress architecture
- Experience with large-scale websites (50K+ pages preferred)
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integrations
Performance & SEO Tech
- Core Web Vitals optimization experience
- Experience with tools like:
- Google PageSpeed Insights
- GTmetrix
- Lighthouse
- Understanding of technical SEO (rendering, indexing, crawl budget)
Infrastructure
- Experience with:
- NGINX / Apache
- CDN setup (Cloudflare preferred)
- Caching layers (Redis, Memcached)
- Basic DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, Git, deployment pipelines)
Frontend Skills
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience in responsive design
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (React/Vue is a plus)
📈 Good to Have
- Experience with headless WordPress
- Knowledge of AI-driven search / LLM SEO (AEO/LLMO)
- Experience handling programmatic SEO pages
- Familiarity with schema markup & structured data
