About The Role
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our Software team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of software projects, from initial conception to deployment and maintenance. This role involves designing and developing websites, internal tools, and applications that support our business operations across various departments, including sales, social media, and our gallery. The PHP Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions align with company goals and user requirements. Currently, this position is remote, offering flexibility in work location, but it requires adherence to designated working hours and days. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills to contribute effectively to our dynamic team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in web development and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Proven experience in PHP development, with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks and best practices.
- Proficiency in MySQL and SQL for database management and optimization.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
The PHP Developer will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Developing, testing, and maintaining robust PHP-based websites and applications that meet business requirements.
- Designing and implementing scalable database solutions using MySQL and SQL.
- Collaborating with designers, project managers, and other developers to create seamless and user-friendly interfaces.
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Contributing to the documentation of software specifications, user manuals, and technical procedures.
- Staying updated with emerging web technologies and integrating relevant innovations into projects.
