We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer who can build, optimize, and maintain reliable web applications and backend systems that support scalable business operations.
This role requires strong expertise in PHP development, database management, API integrations, and application performance optimization. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
You will play an important role in developing robust digital solutions that enhance user experience, operational efficiency, and platform stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and related technologies.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and application modules.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following development best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver seamless applications.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side processes.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Troubleshoot bugs, system issues, and application bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.
- Maintain application security, data protection, and coding standards.
- Support deployment, testing, and production release activities.
- Work with version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
- Ensure applications are responsive, reliable, and scalable.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in PHP development.
- Strong proficiency in Core PHP and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or Yii.
- Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend integration.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of web application security and performance optimization.
- Experience working with Linux environments and web servers like Apache or Nginx.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on SaaS products or scalable web platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of caching systems such as Redis or Memcached.
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
