About The Role
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team at JoonWeb.com. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and back-end systems that power our eCommerce platform. You will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to create integrated solutions that enhance the overall user experience. Your responsibilities will include debugging, optimizing code for scalability and performance, and ensuring that all back-end components function seamlessly with the front-end. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing platform and to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development with a strong understanding of PHP and related frameworks.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to write clean, maintainable code.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies to ensure smooth API integration, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control systems, and best coding practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize applications effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in API development, RESTful services, and integration projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs to support various features of our eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of back-end services.
- Optimize existing codebase for performance, scalability, and security.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the back-end systems, providing timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our platform.
- Assist in the deployment and testing of new features and functionalities.
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints for internal and external use.
