About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team at Sonata Software. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust full stack web applications. Your expertise will be pivotal in modernizing legacy systems and creating scalable, API-driven components that enhance our digital offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, Node.js, and front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or Nuxt, with a passion for building innovative solutions that meet business needs. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, as well as Node.js and Express for backend development. Proficiency in front-end technologies including Vue.js and Nuxt.js is essential. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, database management (MySQL and MongoDB), and version control systems like Git is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain full stack applications utilizing PHP/Laravel, Node.js/Express, and Vue/Nuxt frameworks.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services to support various application features.
- Modernize existing legacy systems by refactoring and optimizing architecture for better performance and scalability.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold best practices.
