Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Laravel / PHP Developer who can develop, manage, and maintain PHP-based applications and WordPress websites independently. The ideal candidate should have experience with Laravel framework, WordPress websites, server management, cron jobs, data feeds (XML/RSS), and data scraping and manage from design to development independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications, Wordpress websites using Laravel and PHP.
- Manage and maintain WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and performance optimization.
- Configure and manage Linux-based web servers hosting Laravel and PHP applications.
- Set up and manage cron jobs for automated tasks and scheduled scripts.
- Work with RSS feeds, XML feeds, and external APIs for data integration.
- Build and maintain data scraping scripts to collect and process data from external websites.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers, product teams, and other developers to implement new features.
- Ensure code quality through proper documentation and best coding practices.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PHP and Laravel framework.
- Good knowledge of WordPress development and management.
- Experience with MySQL / database design and optimization.
- Understanding of cron jobs and scheduled tasks.
- Experience working with XML, RSS feeds, and APIs.
- Knowledge of data scraping tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Basic understanding of Linux server management (Apache/Nginx, SSL, deployment).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
- Knowledge of queue systems, caching (Redis/Memcached).
- Experience with web scraping libraries or automation tools.
- Understanding of Docker or cloud servers (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js / React) is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in Laravel and PHP development projects.
