Hi,
We are currently looking for mid-level Software Engineers with strong PHP and Python programming skills for a Product Development role.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a PHP and Python Developer, located in Kolkata. The developer will design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and software applications. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, ensuring database integration, and collaborating with teams on requirements gathering and project execution. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver scalable, robust solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Expectations:
· Strong hands-on coding capability (coding test will be part of evaluation)
· Around 3–4 years of software development experience
· Passion for actual product engineering and development work
· Agile mindset, ownership, and execution focus
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
· Prior experience in PHP and Python development is highly desirable
· Understanding of secure coding practices and scalability considerations is a plus
