About the Role
SATPALDA is seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Data Solutions Specialist – 2D & 3D to support advanced photogrammetry and GIS projects. This mid-level role requires hands-on execution capability, strong analytical skills, R&D skills and responsibility for quality control of geospatial outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control (QC) of photogrammetric, 2D & 3D GIS datasets.
Generate high-accuracy outputs including Orthomosaics, DTM/DSM, contours, planimetric maps, point cloud and 3D models.
Process LiDAR and satellite imagery data.
Execute GIS analysis and spatial data processing workflows.
Support project delivery team to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
Provide technical inputs for proposals, tenders, and client documentation.
Required Qualifications
Post Graduation in Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing / Civil Engineering / Geography or related field.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Photogrammetry and GIS projects.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in QGIS and ArcMap / ArcGIS.
Hands-on experience with photogrammetry software such as:
Agisoft Metashape, SOCET SET,Correlator 3D, ERDAS LPS, TERRASOLID, Global Mapper (or equivalent)
Experience in:
Orthomosaic generation, DTM/DSM creation, Contour generation, LiDAR processing, Planimetry extraction, Satellite imagery analysis
Mandatory Skills
Strong technical documentation capability.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong deadline management and quality ownership.
