Photo & Video Editing Intern

About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Photo & Video Editing Intern who is passionate about photography, videography, and social media content creation. This internship offers hands-on experience in producing engaging visual content that showcases our company, culture, events, and services across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a creative mindset, an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of office activities, team members, events, and company culture.
- Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Edit and retouch photographs for social media, website, and marketing campaigns.
- Assist in planning, scripting, and producing promotional and branding videos.
- Create engaging short-form video content using trending editing styles and transitions.
- Add captions, animations, motion graphics, music, and visual effects to videos.
- Design thumbnails and basic creatives for social media posts when required.
- Organize and maintain the company's photo and video library.
- Collaborate with the marketing and leadership teams to execute content strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices.
- Assist during company events, workshops, client visits, and team activities to capture content.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, Canva, or similar editing tools.
- Basic understanding of photography, videography, lighting, and composition.
- Passion for creating engaging content for social media platforms.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A portfolio, Instagram page, YouTube channel, or personal editing projects is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Experience operating gimbals, tripods, microphones, or lighting equipment.
