Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Photo Editor role based in Ahmedabad. The Photo Editor will review, select, and organize raw images from photo shoots, ensuring that each project meets visual and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include color correction, retouching, cropping, and enhancing images for print, digital, and social media use. The role may involve coordinating with photographers to understand project objectives, performing image research for inspiration or references, and supporting basic video editing when required. The Photo Editor will maintain an efficient workflow, manage file organization, and deliver final assets within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Photo Retouching and Image Editing skills, with the ability to enhance and refine images while maintaining natural and realistic results.
- Candidates should possess Photo Research and Photography skills, including an eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling to support creative direction.
- Candidates should possess Video Editing skills to assist with short-form video projects and simple post-production tasks when needed.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and basic video tools such as Premiere Pro or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow brand and style guidelines consistently are required.
- Previous experience in a photography studio or creative environment and a portfolio demonstrating relevant work are preferred.
