Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Phonics Teacher at Learn2Read. The teacher will be responsible for preparing and delivering effective phonics lesson plans, teaching and guiding young learners to improve their reading and language skills. Additional responsibilities include monitoring student progress, tailoring instructions to meet specific needs, and engaging effectively with parents to discuss student development.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Education techniques
- Strong capabilities in Teaching and Training young learners
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to guide and interact effectively with children and parents
- Proven ability to use creative and interactive teaching methods
- Background in early childhood education or phonics is preferred
- Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field
Pay: ₹200 – ₹300 per hour
Job Type: Part-time | Contractual
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Mode: Remote
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Minimum Commitment: 3 hours per day
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the kindergarten, pre-primary level, or with children aged 3–8 years
- Strong understanding of phonics concepts and early literacy development
- Jolly Phonics certification is mandatory OR relevant online EdTech teaching experience
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Patient, empathetic, and skilled in handling young children
- Passion for early education and foundational learning
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must have a personal laptop and stable internet connection
