Role Description The Phonics & Public Speaking Professional Expert will design and deliver interactive online sessions in phonics, spoken English, and public speaking for learners of multiple age groups across the Indian region. In this full-time remote role, the professional will create age-appropriate lesson plans, learning materials, and activities that build pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, confidence, and presentation skills. Daily responsibilities include conducting live classes, assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels. The expert will collaborate with academic and content teams to refine curricula, participate in training or review meetings, and maintain organized records of attendance, performance, and learning outcomes. The role also involves engaging with parents or guardians when needed, ensuring clear communication about learner progress and supporting a positive, motivating online learning environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in phonics instruction, spoken English training, and public speaking or communication coaching for diverse age groups.
- Candidates should possess skills in online teaching, classroom management in virtual environments, and engaging learner-centered facilitation techniques.
- Candidates should possess skills in lesson planning, curriculum alignment, and designing interactive learning activities and assessments.
- Candidates should possess clear verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to provide structured, constructive feedback.
- Candidates should possess skills in using digital tools and e-learning platforms, including video conferencing, presentation software, and basic learning management systems.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and reliability in handling multiple batches or learner groups.
- Relevant teaching or training experience in phonics, spoken English, or public speaking, preferably within the Indian education context, is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Communication, or a related field, along with teaching certifications or public speaking training, will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory teaching practices and sensitivity to learners from varied backgrounds is expected.
