About the role

As an intern in the Technology Risk & Compliance team, you will work with internal stakeholders to ensure PhonePe's products meet regulatory compliance standards. You will contribute to a variety of initiatives such as internal audits, third-party risk evaluations, and aligning operations with industry-standard practices and licenses including UPI, e-KYC, and Wallet. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal and regulatory audits Conduct third-party vendor risk assessments in partnership with business stakeholders Analyze regulatory frameworks and ensure alignment with PhonePe's technology and operations Compile and document evidence demonstrating ongoing compliance Assist in the implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks Skills & Requirements Foundational knowledge of information security principles and GRC Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders effectively Strong analytical and documentation capabilities Keen interest in regulatory and compliance roles within the tech industry
