Bonobos is seeking an Assistant Guideshop Manager, otherwise known as a Retail Assistant Manager, in our Guideshop.
The Assistant Guideshop Manager is a customer-obsessed, multi-faceted role that merges business strategy, operations, creativity and people management. The role reports directly to the Guideshop Manager and in partnership with the Guideshop Manager will manage a team of 1-3 Lead Guides and 4-7 Guides.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business results by analyzing business trends, maximizing daily sales plans, and developing Guides
Create an exceptional customer experience by having a strong presence on the sales floor and modeling optimal selling behaviors
Coach Guides during scheduled shifts to provide an exceptional customer experience
Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining top talent
Preserve long-term customer relationships by maximizing the Guideshop client book and maintaining outreach expectations
Act as the leader in charge when the Guideshop Manager is not available
Support the Guideshop’s expense budget, payroll control and procedural compliance
Execute and maintain strong visual merchandising standards
Inspire, motivate, and lead through Bonobos Core Virtues
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 3-4 years of retail or sales experience in a leadership capacity or relevant experience.
- Consistently achieve personal and overall store sales goals.
- Knowledge of men’s fashion, fabrics, and fit.
- Able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holiday
