Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Phlebotomist in Raniganj, specializing in home collection services. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for safely and efficiently collecting blood samples from patients, labeling and transporting samples to the laboratory, adhering to medical protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation. Building a comfortable and professional rapport with patients is an essential aspect of this role to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques and Laboratory Skills
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and Medical Assisting practices
- Basic understanding of Medicine relevant to phlebotomy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction
- A certification in Phlebotomy is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently and provide services in a home collection setting
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for home visits
