Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Phlebotomist, located in Vadodara. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood collections, ensuring proper labeling and handling of samples, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and ensuring compliance with applicable medical and laboratory safety standards. Daily tasks will also include maintaining equipment cleanliness, maintaining patient records, and assisting with other routine clinical laboratory duties to ensure an efficient and high-quality workflow.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Blood Collection and Laboratory Skills
- Familiarity with Medical Assisting and fundamental clinical procedures
- Understanding of Medical Terminology and basic principles of Medicine
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain sample integrity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Certification or diploma in Phlebotomy or a related medical field
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance standards and guidelines in a healthcare environment
