To collect the correct amount of blood for the ordered test.
To label the collection correctly.
To choose the appropriate collection equipment.
To transport lab specimens responsibly.
To communicate and interact effectively with patients and other medical professionals.
To apply laboratory terminology to lab procedures.
To understand and practice ethical behavior.
To get training as and when needed.
To maintain documentation and records.
To make patients comfortable during the procedure and to monitor vital signs.
To maintain the integrity of the sample and collect an adequate amount.
Should be comfortable doing a home visit.
Should have a bike.
