Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru South for a PHE Design Engineer. The PHE Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing efficient plumbing and public health engineering systems for built environments. Daily responsibilities include creating detailed technical designs, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams, assessing project requirements, ensuring designs comply with sustainability standards, and working closely with project managers to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, focusing on sustainable and efficient system solutions.
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on built environment applications.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed technical drawings and designs.
- Ability to analyze and optimize engineering solutions to ensure alignment with client goals and sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with global environmental and green building certifications such as LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, and WELL is an advantage.
- Prior experience working on projects in the Built Environment domain is desirable.
